Rental Program

Flexible Trade-In Program: You may trade your instrument for a different one of equal or greater value within the first year of renting. In the first year, if your child decides to switch to flute from clarinet, the balance you have paid toward the flute will be applied to the clarinet. On violins, you may apply the balance you have paid at any time, toward the next size.

Discounted Purchase Price: The rental agreement is very flexible. You are never obligated to keep the instrument and payments are month-to-month. However, the rental payment is applying each month to the purchase if you decide you want to buy it. You may continue renting until the complete balance is paid, or you may pay it off at any time. Golden Music Center does not charge full list price for the purchase price.

Free Delivery: Simply call us or order online and your instrument will be delivered to your home. We also provide delivery to your child's school. To set up the agreement we do need a parent's signature, so we have to meet with you then. We also deliver a loaner instrument if yours is ever in need of attention and bring yours back to you. Delivery of a repair can be made to the school or your home.

School or In-Home Service: Do not be concerned that Golden Music Center may be a distance from where you live. We have free delivery to your home or to the school. We will come out for free to pick-up your instrument, give you a loaner, and return yours.

Never an Obligation/Always Month-to-Month: You begin the rental program with three month's rent. From there, you owe a payment each month on the day of the month that you first signed the agreement. We can bill you each month by mail or run a credit card each month. You may return the instrument at any time or continue to rent. There is no deposit or any other hidden charges.

Repair: The maintenance plan covers any repair including accidents. The only thing not covered is a malicious or intended damage. It is a mandatory plan. Then, while you are renting from Golden Music Center, if you ever have a concern about the instrument, simply phone us or send us an email. We will promptly give you a loaner instrument to use until yours is repaired. Many times, it is the child's teacher who would like the instrument checked out. We also do routine cleanings and checks of your instrument.

100% of Rent applies to Purchase: All of the rental payment amount applies to the purchase. The maintenance plan does not apply to purchase. Each month the rental payment amount is reducing the purchase price. Remember, there is never an obligation to keep the instrument. You can return it at any time.

No Deposit: There is never a deposit due at any time. Golden Music Center does require that you have good credit and hold a major credit card or debit card.
