We are a staff of people committed to supporting, inspiring, richly developing and kindly fostering the needs, growth and future education of band and string orchestra Denver-Metro area family’s musical product needs toward using quality and excellent products to excite them now in their musical endeavors and to achieve their musical dreams. We have a fun time helping families make music and getting them their tools to make music in a creative, fun fashion. We enjoy discussing our work, messing with the stuff, seeing how it works, and thinking about music. We love learning about the products, meeting the makers of the products and what they think about. We strive to have a lot of fun, have a lot of knowledge, and give joy and kindness to our customers. Our work revolves around renting instruments, operating a music school, providing a good variety of accessories, providing better violins, and outreach to schools and teachers – public & private.
From the stages around Denver, we’ve collected a wonderful set of people to help you. All the people play live as their “other job” and bring their rich backgrounds to help with your needs.
Becca and Devon
The Music Product Specialists are Becca (violin), and Devon (bass). They are the source behind our educational videos and articles. They tune, inspect and play our instruments on a daily basis. They also travel to national trade shows to see what the latest product is and “buzz” in bowed strings instruments.
Jill Moynihan
Jill Moynihan is the friendly voice who greets you if you have a question about your rent-to-own account. Her background is in non-profits, and she worked as a paralegal.
Mary Qualtire
The store owner, Mary Qualtire, opened the store with Mike Roller in 1996. He passed away in summer 2010 and now Mary is the sole owner. She is a classically trained pianist and enjoys studying jazz and alternative music. She hopes to be out playing somewhere in Denver at some time, but is totally engrossed in running the store and scouring the globe for instruments for her customers.
