• All our violins are made with a hand carved solid spruce top and hand carved solid maple back, sides, neck, and scroll. They have ebony fingerboards, tuning pegs, end pins, and inlaid purfling, (purfling is the thin line of inlaid wood around the edge of the violin.  On some cheap instruments it is simply painted onto the wood.) They all come with four fine tuners and a fiberglass bow with real unbleached horsehair in a hard-shell case with rosin.
